Is a divorce pronounced in anger effective?
Answer
A divorce uttered intentionally while a person is aware of what they are saying takes effect, even if they were angry. The only exception is extreme rage that removes a person’s sanity and awareness, which is assessed case by case and should be referred to a mufti with full details.
