Can two prayers be combined while travelling?
Answer
In the Hanafi school the prayers are not combined in a single time (jam’) except at Arafah and Muzdalifah during Hajj. A traveller instead shortens the four-rak’ah fard prayers to two (qasr). Each prayer should be offered within its own time.
