Does using an inhaler break the fast?
Answer
An inhaler delivers medicine into the throat and lungs, so using it during the fast generally breaks the fast and a qaza is required. A person with a genuine medical need who cannot fast at all should consult a mufti and, where applicable, give fidyah.
