Do three divorces given in one sitting count as three?

According to the Hanafi school and the majority of scholars, if a man pronounces three divorces — whether in one sitting or separately — all three take effect (talaq mughallazah). The couple cannot remarry until the woman completes a valid marriage with another man that genuinely ends. Given the gravity, consult a qualified mufti before acting.
